TERMS & CONDITIONS
Cattle Care
The bulls will undergo several tests such as vaccination, worming, vibro-lepto, and PI BVD testing. The tests will be conducted by Dr. Shan Hullman, DVM of South Fork Veterinary Hospital. The ultrasound was performed by Dr. Paul Ritter, DVM of Monument, Kansas. Additionally, semen tests for yearling bulls are scheduled for February 2, 2024. Guarantee & Liability
The standard first-year breeding guarantee is attached to every bull. The ninety days that come after the first turnout are known as the breeding season. In the event of an accident or a divine intervention, no bull will be replaced.
Anyone attending our private treaty sale does so at their own risk, whether it be financial or otherwise. Hageman Black Simmental disclaims all responsibility for potential mishaps or loss of property.

Sale Inquiries
Yearling bulls are available for sale - both percentage and purebred. If a bull is not sold during the auction, it will remain available at the base price. To access the latest EPDs, please visit www.herdbook.org.
If there are multiple potential buyers for a bull, they will engage in a private bidding process. Before the sale begins, the buyers must have their names on the bull. Bulls that exhibit the highest level of interest will be sold first. Until the item is sold, bidding will begin at the base price and increase by $50 at a time. The base price bid belongs to the first buyer to fully commit to a bull. Any bull that has his name on it at the time of sale is subject to the buyer's option to pass. There will be a 3% discount for returning customers. A 4% discount will be given to buyers of two bulls. Three or more bull purchases will result in a 5% discount. We will try our best to accommodate your requests if we cannot complete the sale by 1:00 PM and you are interested in a bull(s). Mail or phone bids are welcome. Photos are available by text request only.
We will retain yearling bulls at no cost until April 1st to ensure the optimal development of young bulls.
